THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."

Our Parish Marriage Policy
Preparation for marriage begins as soon as you are engaged. The first step is to schedule a meeting with Father Trapp to start planning for your wedding.
Pre-Cana is required. There are couples in the parish that will provide a Pre-Cana program. The Marriage and Family Life Office of the Diocese also has scheduled Pre-Cana programs that you can pick from.
FOCCUS is a pre-marital inventory that is used for counseling and is offered in our parish. It is generally done after Pre-Cana has been completed.
The Church is available to all active parishioners at no charge. Weddings may be scheduled no later than 2:00 PM to allow for Saturday Evening Mass.
We are honored to be a part of your new life together. To schedule your wedding at St. Joseph, please call our parish office at 614-873-8850
