The Village of Plain City is conducting street improvements on Gay Street, which may impact travel to the Church. Upon completion, new water and sewage lines will be placed, the street will be narrowed and Gay street will become a one-way, southbound-only street. The village office says that access to the church is considered local access and parishioners can use the street during construction, however occasionally there will be times the street is completely closed. Please download the Village of Plain City app to your smart phone to receive construction notifications. We have alerted them to known events going on at the Church and they will do their best to minimize their construction around the Church on those dates.
If access to the Church parking lot is not open from Gay Street (dotted orange lined street), please use the alley to the side of the white house beside the church or the alley that extends from South Chillicothe Street to Gay Street (blue lines on photo). If street parking is not available on Gay Street due to posted no parking signs or construction equipment, we may use the parking lot at Bob Dhume and Sons Autoworks between Center Street and Knapp Alley (parking lots marked in green in photo). Please review the photos below for further details.
